There are certain parts of Chicago that have the aforementioned flavors.  Taco Bells are now auto insurance company homes, and some-other-fast-food place I can't remember has become a fast-cash, check-cashing place.  It is interesting how these buildings are so distinct, even though we cover them with large signs that say AUTO and GET CASH NOW.  It is also interesting that fast food places all have reddish qualities; once I saw on TV that from a red plate and blue plate of cookies, kids would choose the red plate because red is somehow more appetizing.  Those Koreans and their weird TV shows...  More red = more business?  Maybe it helps.
